The ITV series Jericho was in fact about the navvies building the viaduct on the Settle-Carlisle railway at Batty Moss, more commonly known as Ribblehead. The book is packed with photographs from throughout its 137-year history, and also delves into the station and tunnel at Blea Moor. Text and facts about the building of the structure in the 1870s and rare photographs of the navvies constructing the viaduct which has become the most important structure on the line. Full coverage of the repairs to the viaduct in the 1980s and 1990s which saved the prospect of the line closing forever. Black and white photographs, plans and rare colour views.

Published by Kingfisher Productions, 2015.
