DVD 56

A fascinating journey along two disused sections of railway and one section of the now preserved Wensleydale Heritage Line. It follows the Upper Wensleydale branch line from Garsdale to Hawes and then on to Redmire, the start of the Wensleydale Heritage Railway.

Filmed using a drone, it sets out to capture the stunning landscape of the area by following the trackbed with a truly "birdseye" view. This DVD explores the route all the way from Garsdale to Hawes and then on to Leeming Bar and finishing at Scruton.

We hear from a stationmaster of days gone by at Leeming Bar station and discover Scruton in 1910.

Duration: 1 hour 45 minutes
